The latest news from the Y!Epic site is that TPLSolutions is going to make Y!Epic a paid for version if there is enough interest.... I cant see to many people paying for a 3rd Party Chat Client specially not after forcing the users of the client to Uninstall it without warning upon updating the client!

But in any case here what he has posted on the Y!Epic site

Over the course of the last few days, we have received a phenomenal amount of interest in Y!Epic's public discontinuation. If you would like to register interest in accessing a paid, professional edition of Y!Epic, please post in the forum topic below. We are only considering this as an option at this early stage and have not yet produced the version, but with enough interest may invest the time to do so.

Looks like a paid version will be happening according to TPL latest post which states

Y!Epic Pro will be available within the next 12-24 hours. I will place further information up shortly and contact those interested on a per-user basis.

Thank you for your time,

Lee.

Ourchat.org will not be offering support for Y!Epic as i wont be paying to use a 3rd Party Chat Client... It not that i am against people charging for there client in fact they put allot of hard work and time into it they deserve to get a little something out of it.. I like using Yahoo! and 3rd Party Chat Clients because i like to help others with them and i do so free even though i myself have costs to cover for hosting, domain, etc etc, i am not about to start paying for something just to do that. However in the future i might add donation button to the site and if people donate i will use that money to add support for these kinds of clients.
